Darling Diva Polish - Tilasha and Verad (H)

Get ready! I have lots of pictures to show you this evening!
I have the remaining two multichrome flakie toppers by Darling Diva Polish. They are just as lovely as the others that I've already showed you.

Ready? Here we go!

Tilasha

Tilasha is a blue to red shifting multichrome flakie with a strong holo finish.
In my pictures I have on one coat of Sinful colors "Black on Black", two coats of "Tilasha" and one coat of Seche Vite.

Verad

Verad is a Gold to Green to Blue Multichrome flakie topper with a strong holo finish.
In my photos I am wearing one coat of Sinful Colors "Black on Black", two coats of "Verad" and one coat of Seche Vite.

The same hold true for these two, just like the last two I've showed you. I love the way they applied, and the color payoff is just excellent. When it comes to these flakies, I really think there's something for everyone. I think my personal favorite is Hellea. Check it out [here].

Darling Diva Polish - Prilea (H)

I have another flakie masterpiece for you today! Darling Diva has four new multichrome flakie toppers and this is the second one I've tried. Today's color is Prilea and it is amazing...like, knock your socks off amazing.

Prilea is a green-gold-rose shifting flakie polish with a holographic finish. Just like yesterday's color, and the other two, it is available in holo and non-holo finishes.

Shall we?

It's a stunner, isn't it?

In my pictures I have on one coat of Sinful Colors "Black on Black", two coats of "Prilea" and one coat of Seche Vite.

The above picture is slightly less lit up, so you can see all of its amazing flakes!

I just love how the flakes pop on a black background!

All of my pictures are pretty dramatic so you can see all of the color shift in the polish, I decided to include one in real life. I took the next picture in my living room. It's still beautiful!

What do you think so far? I'll have the last two beauties in this collection for you tomorrow!
Keep in touch with Darling Diva, they've got amazing new things happening all the time!

Darling Diva Polish - Hellea (H)

The flakes! The flakes are everywhere! They're everywhere and I love them.
Darling Diva polish just released a set of multichrome flakie toppers on Friday, and I feel so fortunate to have them added to my collection! There are four polishes in various colors and are available in a holo or non-holo finish. The ones I was given are the holographic versions!

Today's polish is Hellea.

Hellea is a beautiful multichrome flakie topper that shifts from turquoise to pink/purple. In my pictures I am wearing one coat of black and two coats of Hellea.

The above picture is purposefully not as lit up so you can really see the flakes. It's beautiful, isn't it?

I love that you can see all the bits and pieces of the flakes in that macro, especially that big turquoise flake in the middle there!
Keep your eyes out for the rest of these amazing flakie toppers later this week. I'm just not ready to take this one off yet, it's so gorgeous!

Darling Diva has TONS of flakie goodness available in their store now!

Alchemy Lacquers - Gilded Holly

Hello there friends! I hope this Christmas Eve-Eve finds you well. I have another gilded beauty from Alchemy Lacquers, and this time it's Christmassy!

Today's post is late because I've been running around getting ready for the holidays. Falling ill this past weekend hasn't helped either.

Anyway, without further ado...here's "Gilded Holly" by Alchemy Lacquers!

Gilded Holly is "a green based, gold to silver shifting metallic nail lacquer with multi-sized red, green and hunter green metallic and holographic glitters"

I love this unique twist on a holiday polish. It's festive, but still holds true to the "Gilded" style that is just so great.
In my pictures I have on 3 coats of Gilded Holly, one coat of Zoya Armor and one coat of Seche Vite.

(Mega macro for your drooling pleasure)

This and all of the other Gilded polishes are available in one tidy package in the Alchemy Lacquers Etsy shop. You can get one of each gilded shade in a mini size. I can only speak for myself when I say that I want all of them and think one should own ALL of them. Now you can!

Wherever the Holiday finds you, whether you celebrate or not...best wishes from me to you.
Lots of Love,
Cass

Model City Polish - Holiday Part 2

Hello there! Last night's post was all about Hanukkah. Today, and probably the rest of the next week will be all about Christmas! I have lots of festive polishes in my collection, and these are a perfect new addition. I have the remaining 4 polishes from the Model City Polish Holiday collection for you today.

Arctic Sea

Arctic sea is a lovely medium blue shimmer with a nice holographic finish. This color went on nice and easy in two thin coats.

Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland is a clear glitter topper with silver holographic triangles, micro glitter, micro slices, snowflakes, blue dots and small blue hexes.
I used two coats of Winter Wonderland over Arctic Sea. The only remark I have about this polish is that the larger shapes don't lay super flat on the nail, so a thick topcoat like Gelous and/or Seche Vite is a must! I didn't feel like I had to fish around for the shapes, which was nice!

This polish combination really reminds me of a certain "chilly" Disney queen, wouldn't you agree?

Evergreen

Evergreen is a rich and shimmery green with lots of holographic micro glitter throughout.
In my pictures I have on two coats of Evergreen and one coat of Seche Vite.

I am always cautious about green polish. ALWAYS. I had a terrible staining episode last Christmas and have made it a point to stain test every green I get,
I put this color on my right pinky with a base coat, two coats of color and one coat of topcoat. I am happy to report that after 24 hours of wear, there were no signs of staining! Hooray!

Winterberry

Winterberry is a shimmering red jelly with micro holographic glitter throughout, very similar to Evergreen. Red Polish can be tough for me, but this one is just dark enough and not too orange for me. It's really a lovely shade of red.

I have on two coats of Winterberry and one coat of Seche Vite.
So pretty!

I really like the colors in this collection, Not too fussy. You could easily wear any of these colors year round, or combine them for a fun, mix and match holiday mani!

Thank you for checking in! Check out Model City for these Holiday polishes and many others!

Alchemy Lacquers - Gilded Dreidel and Tekhelet

Well folks, it's the second evening of the festival of lights, Happy Hanukkah! Even if you don't celebrate this holiday, you can still enjoy the two fabulous polishes I have for you.
I have two Hanukkah polishes by Alchemy Lacquers, and they are nothing short of amazing.
They're both blue, and lovely...and you know how I love my blues!

First up, I have "Gilded Dreidel".

Isn't that the most magical macro of a polish, like, EVER???
I love every single thing about this polish. Every flake, every speck of holographic and iridescent glitter in it!

Gilded Dreidel is a "Blue based, gold to silver shifting metallic nail lacquer with multi sized silver, blue and dark blue metallic and holographic glitters."

It's a metallic, blue dream.
In my pictures I am wearing three thin coats of Gilded Dreidel and one coat of Seche Vite.

Here's a second, and equally awesome macro for you!

Next I have Tekhelet, a blue glitter bomb in a bottle!

Tekhelet is a "Blue, silver, and holographic micro-glitter in a clear base."

For a "glitter" polish, I was surprised at how easy it was to make it opaque. I used three easy coats and one coat of Seche Vite.

Once again, I've fallen in love with Alchemy Lacquers and all the awesomeness happening over there. I can't wait to see what else is in store!
Thanks for stopping by!

Model City Polish - Christmas With a Chance of Snow

Hello there! I wanted to fast-track this polish, because it is Christmas themed. I just couldn't waste any time. I will have the rest of the Holiday collection by Model City Polish later this week.

Today, I have for you "Christmas With a Chance of Snow".

Christmas With a Chance of Snow is a clear based glitter topper jam-packed with green and red holographic hex and teeny little matte white hex. As a topper, I am certain that this would be adorable. I opted to build it up and make my nails ultra glittery!

In my pictures I have on 3 coats of the polish, one coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite. This polish is MAJORLY loaded with glitter, so at first it's a little bit thick. I don't mind having a thick layer on my nails, but for those that don't, one coat of glitter with color under it would be great!

This is one part of five polishes in Nina's Holiday collection for Model City Polish.
I love this Christmas polish, it is super festive.
Aside from it being a smidge on the thick side, application was great!
Check back later this week for more goodness from Model City!

Franken Party!

Happy Sunday everyone! I have yet another blue polish to show you today! It may not be super unique, but I love it so much because I made it myself!
I recently had a little get-together and some friends and I whipped up our own polishes, just for fun. As you may or may not remember I am a lover of all things blue. So, of course it wouldn't be right for me to make something on my own in any other color, right?

I'm not really sure how best to describe this color. It's a very opaque jelly, with shimmery flakes and a nice holo. It only took one coat to get great coverage with this one of a kind polish.

What do you think? I'm pretty proud of my creation!

Have a great week everyone!

Alchemy Lacquers - Nightshade

Hi friends! I have another lovely shade by Alchemy Lacquers for you today.
As with every other Alchemy Lacquer I have, this one is beautiful too.
Nightshade is a "Very dark purple jelly nail lacquer with a very strong green shimmer."

Gorgeous, as always! I love this color, the polish itself however didn't level out until I put a topcoat on it. To me, that's not an issue at all, because I would never go without topcoat. This was just something that I noticed.
In my pictures I have on three coats of Nightshade and one coat of Seche Vite.

Alchemy Lacquers just released four new polishes just for Christmas and Hanukkah. With any luck, they are waiting for me at my house right now!

Stay tuned for more awesomeness from Alchemy Lacquers.
