Hello, again!

Hello friends! As you may or may not have noticed, I took a little unannounced break. I'm back, again! Today, to intro myself back I want to share with you some fun nails that some friends and I did one night in my kitchen!

Every once in awhile it's fun to get together to share the pretties that you've accumulated. Since the indie polish universe has so much to offer, it's fun to share and compare your stash with friends.

One Saturday night I had a couple friends over, Erin of ICE Polish and my dear friend Lisa (yes, I take the blame for her polish addiction) came to play with polish!

Let's take a look at what we did!

Erin's Nails

Lisa's Nails

My Nails

A little bit of stamping, a little bit of glitter, some striping tape and TONS of fun!

Fall is here, friends and I am excited for all that the rest of the year has to bring!

ICE Polish - One Offs collection

What a fun and diverse collection I have for you today. My dear friend Erin has been so patient with me as I am trying to get back on my blogging "feet" so to speak. These 5 polishes were introduced to her collection on August 22nd. This is a collection of super fun, "One off" shades.

MMM...Kale

MMM...Kale is a black jelly base packed with emerald shimmer, so much so that it makes the polish look green and not black. It also has lots of bits and pieces of green glitter.

In my photos I am wearing 3 coats of Kale and one coat of Seche Vite.

Toothless

Toothless is a sheer black jelly base with neon green and blue glitters in hex, diamond and circle shapes.
In my photos I am wearing three coats of Toothless and one coat of Seche Vite.

Sunset Skies

Sunset Skies is a very sheer, tomato red jelly that is full of yellow, pink and lavender glitters in lots of shapes and sizes. This one takes a little dabbing to get the glitters spread out, but with the jelly base, it's easy to apply.

In my photos I am wearing three coats of Sunset Skies, one coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite.

Peacock Be Trippin

Wooooooo, Peacock be Trippin is one lovely teal polish. This is a deep teal base, with holographic effect and an awesome pink/purple shimmer thrown in.

In my photos I have on two coats of "Peacock" and one coat of Seche Vite.

White Trash

This is my favorite of the collection. I love the fun mix of all the glitter shapes and colors in this white crelly base. Something that I have noticed about Erin's white crellys is that they are borderline opaque and really easy to work with. What that means is that you don't need a million coats to get your color!

In my pictures I am wearing two coats of White Trash and one coat of Seche Vite.
Another fun note about this polish...there's a little bit of EVERY one of Erin's glitters in this polish, hence the name White "Trash".
Check it out!

(there's a cute heart hiding in there...can you see it?)

All in all, I think this collection is a winner for sure! The formula for all of them is ultra easy to work with aside from a little bit of glitter fishing and dabbing. All of these colors are available now, in the ICE Polish Etsy shop. Get yours now, while you still can!

Wondering what I've been up to?

Yep, I'm still around. I haven't abandoned you. I will spare you the excuses and just tell you that I have been a Slacker McSlackerton. I have let the stresses of life get the better of me and neglected my blog.
I'm still here, and am getting my ducks in a row.

Want to see what I've been wearing on my nails? I only took pictures of 3 of them, and I'm happy to show them to you!

OPI Do you have this color in Stock-Holm?

This is a true purple for purple lovers. In every single picture, it wants to go a little blue...but it is definitely purple. On top of it, I stamped Mentality's "Moe".

Elevation Polish: Tre Cime di Lavaredo

This. This is GOLD that I actually like. It's a cool gold that almost leans green and has a strong linear holo. You must get your hands on this polish...I just checked earlier and it was still in stock. Usually that isn't the case for long...you should probably go get it right now :-)

The Holo Unicorn

Ok, please pardon my very red looking hands. I have a little bit of everything going on in this mani. The colors I used are:
Indigo Bananas : Maui Wowee
Digital Nails: Wow
Stamped with Mentality black, and two Sally hansen color foils
Topped everything with Enchanted Polish "Djinn in a bottle

It's fun, and crazy and super holographic magic!

I'm back friends...and I'm feelin good about all the fun things I have in store!

Thanks for reading!!!

Takko - Blue Flamingo MIA

Hello there darling! I'm here this lovely Monday with a swatch of an adorable color!
My friend Erin TOTALLY surprised me and snagged me a bottle of Takko's "Blue Flamingo: MIA". Takko is another famous artisan brand of polish that is pretty tough to get your hands on. Mei Mei's signatures is a stockist out of Singapore and she had a restock where Erin was crafty and snagged me one!

"Blue Flamingo MIA is now a creamy sky blue hinted with pink shimmer and holo dancing throughout the polish"

The color is amazing, and the bottle is adorable!

GORGEOUS, right?
This is a pretty common problem when it comes to shimmer and holo. The true nature of this polish is really tough to capture in pictures. It's very shimmery and sparkly!

In my pictures I have on 2 coats of Blue Flamingo, and one coat of Seche Vite.

There are tons of other fantastic creations by Takko...I just have to wait to get my hands on them!
